Helpmates is hiring for a skilled Assembler. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with fine detail work using a microscope, and the ability to assemble and solder components to IPC J-STD standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 2:30 am - 1:00 am 

• Pay Rate: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour (DOE)

  Responsibilities:

• Perform soldering on small components under a microscope (microscope use required throughout the entire shift)

• Assemble wire and cable harnesses to customer specifications

• Apply epoxy and adhesives as needed during the assembly process

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

• Ensure quality and accuracy of all work performed

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation

• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times

• Assist in other assembly or production tasks as needed

Requirements:

• IPC J-STD certification or experience working to IPC standards

• Proficient in soldering small components

• Experience working under a microscope for extended periods

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

• Experience with epoxy, wire/cable assembly

• Basic computer skills (a plus)

• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in electronics, aerospace, or medical device assembly
