Helpmates is seeking an experienced Aerospace Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cable harness assembly, potting & molding, or soldering, with a preference for aerospace experience. Responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, using hand tools and machines, ensuring product quality, and collaborating with various departments to meet production goals. IPC-WHMA-A-620 standards knowledge is a plus.    Schedule: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm or 2:30 pm - 1:00 am   Pay Rate: $21 - $23/hr. DOE    Job Duties:

• Assemble cable harnesses, potting and molding, or soldering components.
• Interpret technical drawings and use hand tools and machines.
• Ensure product meets quality standards and complies with IPC-WHMA-A-620.
• Review documentation before production and follow procedures.
• Notify quality inspectors for in-process checks and rework non-conforming products.
• Perform testing for aerospace, defense, and industrial applications.
• Maintain accurate test reports and complete production logs.

Requirements:

• Experience in cable harness assembly, potting & molding, or soldering.
• Aerospace experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret drawings and use hand tools/machines.
• Knowledge of soldering or willingness to train for certification.
• Ability to meet IPC-WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards.

Collaboration:

• Work with Engineering, Planning, and other departments to meet deadlines.
• Communicate with team members to ensure clarity and productivity.
• Continuously seek ways to improve processes and reduce costs.
