Job Title: Mortgage Document Control Specialist (Urgently hiring!)
Pay Rate: $31.50 per hour
Schedule: 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday

We are seeking a Mortgage Document Control Specialist for a long-term contract opportunity for one of the world's leading financial services advisors located in Santa Ana, CA The Mortgage Document Control Specialist will be primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of mortgage and document custodian operations. This role involves meticulously reviewing and verifying documents, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective measures to maintain the highest standards of quality within the industry. This is a full-time, first-shift position located in Santa Ana, CA.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive audits of mortgage documents and custodial records.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of documentation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Identify and rectify discrepancies in loan files and documentation.
Collaborate with team members to enhance quality control processes and practices.
Prepare detailed reports of audit findings and present recommendations for improvement.
Assist in training and mentoring new staff on quality control standards and procedures.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control within the mortgage or document custodian industry.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Proficiency in relevant industry software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
