We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated R&D Laboratory Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and experience with laboratory equipment. This role involves accurately capturing, analyzing, and presenting data to support research and development initiatives.

Candidates should also be proficient in operating lab equipment such as scales, texture analyzers, water activity meters, and pH meters.

Duration: 1 month project (40-120 hours) 

Schedule: Flexible start time between 7:00 am and 9:00 am (6-8 hrs per day)

Pay Rate: $25-$28/Hour 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Accurately collect and record data using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other tools.
• Perform mathematical calculations, including Mean, Standard Deviation, % Standard Deviation, UCL, and LCL.
• Create graphs and visualizations to identify and communicate meaningful trends in data.
• Operate lab equipment such as scales, texture analyzers, water activity meters, and pH meters.
• Use AI tools for data transcription and compilation.
• Develop PowerPoint presentations to present data insights to larger groups.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure data accuracy.
• Exhibit strong initiative and self-motivation in handling tasks and problem-solving.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong mathematical and computational skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and analysis.
• Experience with laboratory equipment and procedures.
• Familiarity with AI tools for data processing is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in a related field such as biology, chemistry, food science, or data analytics.
• Prior experience in a lab or R&D environment.
