Wire Harness Assembly Technician - Urgently hiring & Wire Harness Assembly Technician in Morgan Hill!

Job Title: Wire Harness Assembly Technician

Pay: $20 - $28 per hour Schedules Available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3PM-11:30PM 3rd Shift: Monday-Friday 11PM-7:30AM (All training will be on first Shift) Start Date: ASAP

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Wire Harness Assembler to join our growing cable harness manufacturing team! If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and collaborating with others to build high-quality products, this could be a great fit for you.

What You’ll Do: In this role, you’ll play a key part in building first-piece and prototype wire harness assemblies from the ground up. Your work will directly support new product development and ensure everything meets top-quality standards.
  • Build first-piece and prototype cable harnesses and subcomponents based on drawings, work instructions and bills of materials (BOM's)
  • Perform soldering, crimping, stripping, and routing of wires
  • Assemble components and sub-assemblies for testing and evaluation
  • Ensure all work meets IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards
  • Inspect and verify your own work using tools, checklists, and visual aids
  • Help identify and resolve design or documentation issues
  • Support updates to work instructions and documentation
  • Set up workstations and verify parts and materials
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams
  • Mentor and support less experienced team members
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: 1–5 years of recent hands-on experience in wire harness assembly
  • Strong knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards
  • Skilled in soldering, crimping, and wire preparation
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
  • Comfortable using hand tools such as crimpers, wire cutters, and drills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Team player with solid communication skills

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, active environment

Location & Schedule: This is an on-site position in Morgan Hill, California, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available!
