HealthCare Support is actively seeking a
Pharmacist In Charge to join one of the nation’s leading pharmacies in
Christiansburg, VA. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative pharmacy team focused on providing excellent patient care while maintaining a balanced and sustainable work environment. The pharmacy offers a collaborative team environment focused on balancing workload and patient care, helping pharmacists maintain a sustainable and rewarding day-to-day practice experience. The team strongly incentivizes Pharmacy Technicians to obtain their Immunization Certification, creating additional clinical support within the pharmacy and enhancing patient care capabilities.
Compensation

$127,000–$166,000 per year, based on experience

Premium Pay Incentive

Annual Bonus: $8,000–$15,000
Schedule

40 hours per week

Autonomy to create your own schedule

As the Pharmacist Leader, flexibility is essential.

Must be willing to work every other weekend.

Store Hours:
-
Sundays: Pharmacy is open from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Saturdays: Pharmacy is open from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Weekdays: Pharmacy is open from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Daily lunch closure: The pharmacy closes from 1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. each day, providing the team with a dedicated, uninterrupted break to recharge.
Daily Responsibilities

Fill prescriptions, monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage and security of drugs, including controlled substances/narcotics

Provide patient counseling and discuss challenges to medication adherence

Complete scheduling of technicians and support sales and goals of pharmacy department
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy

Current pharmacist licensure in good standing

Retail Pharmacy experience
