Respiratory Clinician (RT/RN) – Home Medical Equipment in Lakeport, CA
Looking to make an impact for patients in your community? HealthCare Support is seeking a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse for a field-based Respiratory Clinician role in Lakeport, CA. This position combines patient care, education, and hands-on equipment setup to support patients in the home setting.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Set up and deliver respiratory equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, oxygen, nebulizers, and ventilators
- Provide hands-on patient education to patients, families, and caregivers on equipment use
- Conduct patient assessments and ensure proper therapy compliance
- Travel throughout Lake and Mendocino counties for patient visits (primarily local with occasional extended travel)
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide technical support
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Coordinate with physicians, referral sources, and internal teams
- Participate in on-call rotation, responding to patient needs and troubleshooting issues
Required Qualifications:
- Active Respiratory Therapist (RT) or Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
- Ability to travel within assigned territory
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50+ lbs occasionally
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sleep apnea or CPAP/BiPAP experience
- Durable Medical Equipment (DME) experience
- NBRC credentials (CRT/RRT)

Shift:
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation:
- $40 – $52/hr DOE
- Mileage reimbursement: $0.45–$0.50/mile
- Quarterly bonus potential (not guaranteed)
