Patient Access Representative
HealthCare Support is actively seeking an Patient Access Representative to fill an opening in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
Daily Responsibilities for Patient Access Representative:
Must be able to perform essential job duties in at least two Patient Access service areas including ED.
Uses proper negotiation techniques to professionally collect money owed by our Patients/Guarantors
Completes full patient registration at date of service
Thoroughly explains and secures Hospital & patient legal forms (i.e., Advance Directives, Conditions of services, Consent for treatment, Important Message from Medicare, EMTALA, etc.)
Monday to Friday 8AM - 5PM
Required Qualifications for Patient Access Representative:
High School Diploma or GED
6+ months medical claims and or hospital collections and follow up experience
Solid understanding of the Revenue Cycle as it relates to the entire life of a patient account from creation to payment
