About Joy Utterback:

Joy has been an amazing recruiter for me. With this being my first contract, I truly knew nothing about the process of becoming a traveler. Joy was so patient and willing to break down each step and explain them to me. Throughout my onboarding process, Joy was always there to keep the ball rolling smoothly. If there was ever a road block, she faced it and had the problem solved nearly immediately for me. I know she has other travelers, but she makes me feel as if I’m her only client. She truly cares. So much so, that she gave me her personal phone number for emergencies since we have a multiple hour time difference and she may not always be at her work phone. I have called her at 9pm with problems and concerns about work and she was there for me. I truly cannot say enough positive things about Joy.

I left Focus after working there 4 years because my first recruiter left without communicating that to me. Joe found my file and called to apologize for the lack of communication. I had already started a job at another company, but Joe checked in frequently and always asked if he could bring me back to Focus. He’s been there throughout my first contract with him and he still checks in frequently. He’s knowledgeable about the jobs out there and keeps me up to date. I’m happy to be back with Focus and Joe as my recruiter.
