I understand everyone has a job to do whether recruiter or person seeking a contract but I think it’s very necessary when a traumatic issue arises a recruiter should be a little more understanding and empathetic.. maybe advise the person they should wait another week to start said contract so rushing last minute doesn’t effect the team or the person applying. Life happens and if it’s your first time with a company and recruiter it can be hard to know the persons work ethic and character but if something out of your control like someone hitting you and totaling you car 2 days before finishing all your compliance stuff… and becoming exasperated or irritable when someone is trying to get it all figured out while still working full time plus almost 60 hours a week and having a toddler you should be more understanding is all I feel. It seemed like because I wasn’t done which I understand it should’ve been done sooner but just about two weeks to do all of that with said situation couldn’t be helped and I felt like I had been annoying to Blake and didn’t want to come off rude either… just little things like that and I understand part of your job is getting nurses started and maybe that’s their way of making money but it made me feel really bad and honestly my supervisor at the new job was really understanding about letting me come late and take care of some things one day pertaining to a car and the accident and he didn’t know me either so goes to show it can be done but maybe that was because he’s met me in person and seen how I work too. Overall just some patience and empathy especially working with healthcare professionals who have to provide that regularly but don’t receive it from others. Thank you for everything else.
