About Scott
Scott's Bio

I've been married to my wonderful wife and best friend, Jennifer, for 21 years. We have a full house with two wonderful kids; Adilee, 19 and Zachary, 16 as well as four dogs (Cappy, Rodney, Silas and Charlie). I describe myself often as a big kid with a big heart, a desire to help, and unrelenting positivity. Not every day is sunshine, rainbows and unicorns, but my goal is that you will never know that by my actions or my energy. I have been a travel nurse recruiter, senior recruiter and team lead over my 20 year career in healthcare recruiting and still love it to this day. I am the oldest of 4, the loudest in the office (when I am there as I am mostly remote from Cincinnati) and definitely not afraid to jump in and help in any and all instances, whether personal or professional.

Recruiting Since
2006

Why I love to recruit
I have often referred to this position as my calling, not my career. I am a social person by nature and have never met a stranger. So, combine that with my desire to help others and you get the perfect position. Every day I have the opportunity to make friends, build and foster relationships, and help my "friends that are nurses" (or techs, PT's, etc) find the job that helps them to best fulfill there goals. At the same time, I know I am putting quality clinicians to work in places that really need their help and where their presence will help save lives, and that is pretty awesom.

When I'm not working I like to
When I am not working to help my friends that are nurses their next best assignment, I am an avid DIYer. Sports are a huge part of my life and I love everything Reds, Bengals, Ohio State, and UC. I love coaching and despite the previously mentioned favorite teams, my favorite sport is Lacrosse, as I have grown up in that with my son over the last 9 years. I also love ghost hunting, all things Halloween, scary movies, and most of all, Legos.

About Scott Schuckman:

I worked with Scott for 10 years. That’s very unusual for travel nurses. I always felt supported and that Scott had my back. He went above and beyond many times!!! I wouldn’t go travel nursing without him backing me up!

About Scott Schuckman:

Scott has been my go to recruiter for many years. He always goes the extra mile for his nurses and has their back. He always keeps in mind your comfort level and what part of nursing skill that you are weak in. He never just puts you in an assignment just to meet the quota. His personality is one that can put you at ease, a great listener and a level of knowledge that makes him trustworthy. Scott is an asset, not only to the nurses that he places in assignments, but also to the company that she works.
