Mike was open and honest about the position - asked a lot of great questions. After first hanging up I wished the compensation discussion had happened sooner as we weren't in the same ball park of what was being offered versus current compensation; after looking back I was glad we had a productive conversation that could possibly be used for other positions. Many recruiters will talk compensation and end call, which could close future opportunities.
