As a Fabricator, you’ll play a key role in building high-quality components that meet specifications. You’ll work closely with skilled technicians and supervisors to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in every project.
What You’ll Do:
As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for:
- Performing TIG and MIG welding of stainless steel, aluminum, cold/mild steel, and tubular steel.
- Completing layout, fitting, welding, and finishing of metal parts according to customer specifications.
- Operating fabrication equipment such as rolling machines, stud welders, and overhead cranes.
- Performing inspections, verify material types, thicknesses, and dimensions throughout production.
- Ensuring all safety protocols are followed, including equipment checks and workspace cleanliness.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
- Measuring and checking parts to maintain tight tolerances and consistent quality.
- Assisting with other duties as assigned to help achieve our goals.
What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- High school diploma, trade school certificate, or equivalent.
- Proven ability to interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and job specifications.
- Understanding of metallurgy, material types, and gauges.
- Strong math and measuring skills (tape measure, dial caliper, versa gauge, etc.).
- Ability to layout, fit, weld, and finish with minimal supervision.
- Certification in welding and overhead crane operation (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and commitment to quality workmanship.
