We are seeking a
Secretary for a
part-time temporary position that could become temp to hire. This is for our client, a
local church located in Bangor, Maine. The
Secretary will manage communications, handle administrative tasks, and provide crucial support for the church's day-to-day operations. The
Secretary will successfully facilitate efficient communication and maintain accurate records to ensure the smooth flow of the church's administrative functions. This is a
part-time temporary position located in
Bangor, Maine.
As a Secretary, you will be responsible for:

Answering phones and emails, responding to them appropriately, and distributing messages to the correct person.

Serving as a checks-and-balances for the treasurer by accurately inputting financial data into the computer, requiring high attention to detail.

Preparing the bulletin board for Sunday services.

(Optional) Creating a slideshow for Sunday services, which includes songs and scripture readings, for which additional pay will be provided.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Experience in a secretarial or administrative role.

Strong data entry and computer skills.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

The ideal candidate should not be a member of the church.
