Job Title: Stitcher Urgently Hiring
Pay: $17 per hour to start
Hours: M-F 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a Stitcher for a full-time position with the possibility of being hired permanently. You will be joining an inclusive team environment for a client located in Winthrop, ME, that stitches large filtration belts.
The Stitcher operates sewing machines to join, reinforce, and perform related sewing operations in the manufacturing of non-garment products. A successful Stitcher will demonstrate a keen attention to detail and a willingness to learn, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
As a Stitcher, you will be responsible for:
Operating sewing machines to stitch materials together according to specifications.
Performing quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
Moving heavy, bulky material as part of the stitching process.
Using hand dexterity to handle and assemble materials with care.
Collaborating with the team to optimize production efficiency and meet daily goals.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
The ability to push, pull, and lift up to 30 lbs, move heavy bulky materials, and have good hand dexterity.
A willingness to learn.
