Job Title: Material Handler/Forklift Operator
Pay: $20/hr (based on experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our team in Biddeford, ME. This is a full-time, day-shift position offering competitive pay and a stable Monday through Friday schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely unload raw materials from supplier trucks
- Receive and verify sheet materials against packing slips for accuracy and condition
- Tag sheet pallets with barcoded labels for tracking and traceability
- Organize and store materials using barcode scanning for inventory accuracy
- Locate and deliver materials to work centers as needed for production
- Maintain clean and organized stock racks and shop floor by consolidating materials
- Perform pre-use inspections and general maintenance on material-handling equipment
- Support inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies and collaborating with buyers
- Assist with forklift evaluations and safety observations
- Manage scrap, trash, recycling, and pallet inventories
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned to support team and production goals
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a forklift (certification preferred)
- Familiarity with inventory systems and barcode scanning
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness
