Job Title: Resort Facilities Technician – Urgently Hiring!

We are seeking a Resort Facilities Technician for a year-round opportunity with our client, a large, scenic coastal resort with cabins located in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. This hands-on, jack-of-all-trades role is available due to the upcoming retirement of a long-term employee. The Resort Facilities Technician will be responsible for maintaining and improving the property, providing maintenance support during the busy summer season, and performing larger improvement projects during the off-season. This role is essential to ensuring a clean, safe, and guest-ready environment across the entire property.

• Perform general property maintenance, including light plumbing, carpentry, painting, and basic HVAC tasks

• Maintain the grounds through mowing, trimming, shoveling, and snow removal

• Complete minor repairs and upkeep tasks, including changing light bulbs and routine fixes

• Operate various equipment such as mowers, weed whackers, a golf cart, and an onsite truck

• Support guest needs during the busy summer season with timely, courteous maintenance services

• Focus on projects and property improvements during the off-season

• Ensure all areas of the resort are clean, safe, and welcoming for guests

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or property management (preferred)

• Strong problem-solving skills and a guest service-oriented mindset

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a small team

• A valid driver’s license
