Pay: $18/hr to start, with potential to increase to $19/hr based on performance Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (Off Saturday & Tuesday) 10:00 AM – 5:00 or 6:00 PM Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a Bread Slicer Machine Operator for a temp?to?hire role with a growing, family?owned bakery in Westbrook, ME. Following the client’s recent move and expansion, this position is needed to help meet high production demands—up to 3,000 rolls per day—by efficiently operating automated slicing equipment and supporting overall workflow in a fast?paced environment. As the Bread Slicer Machine Operator, you will:

• Place loaves into the slicing machine and guide them through safely and accurately.
• Monitor the machine’s operation, ensuring slices are clean and consistent.
• Maintain organizational standards for workflow and cleanliness in the slicing area.
• Follow safety protocols, including proper use of closed?toe shoes and no hand jewelry.
• Support cross?training initiatives and help where needed to support overall team goals.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high output, fast paced setting.
• A team-oriented mindset and a positive, flexible attitude.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods; lighter duty compared to other bakery roles.
• Openness to working with a younger demographic and adapting to varying tasks.
