Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician – Urgently Hiring Pay: $35–$40/hour  Hours: 12-hour night shifts, approx. 45 hours/week  Start Date: ASAP We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a full time position with our client, a well-established industrial manufacturer located in Lewiston, Maine. The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure machinery operates at optimal efficiency. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the overall reliability of critical plant operations. This is a hands-on, night-shift position located in Lewiston. As an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Perform regular maintenance on industrial machinery, including presses and related equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Operate and maintain PLCs and related control systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, GE Fanuc).
• Install and upgrade mechanical and electrical components as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, parts used, and maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure consistent production flow.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and cleanliness standards in the work environment.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A 2-year technical degree or equivalent military technical training
• 8–12 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Proven knowledge of PLC programming, electrical systems, and mechanical repair
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and time management skills
• Steel toe footwear (required)
• The physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 50+ pounds, and work in a manufacturing setting
