Bonney Staffing has partnered with a property management company managing complexes throughout Western Maine, providing affordable housing and specializing in HUD, Section 8, and other housing programs. The Property Manager position in Oxford, Maine is responsible for overseeing tenant relations, rent collection, property maintenance, and tenant communication. You'll need a strong understanding of property management practices and relevant regulations. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with the possibility of a quick-hire transition if the company finds the right candidate.  Responsibilities Include:

• Tenant screening and approvals
• Rent and property management fee collection
• Property inspections and maintenance coordination
• Tenant and owner communication, addressing issues and concerns
• Notifying tenants of rent changes and maintenance needs
• Contracting with service providers for maintenance and repairs
• Maintaining records of leases, complaints, and finances
• Overseeing lease renewals and tenancy end processes

Property Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager
• Previous experience with HUD/World/Section 8 housing strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Office software and property management software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for tenant and owner interactions
• Strong administrative skills, including data entry and record maintenance
• Knowledge of building and safety regulations and landlord-tenant laws

Property Manager Details:

• Schedule: Full-time, with flexible hours as needed to meet tenant and property requirements
• Pay Rate: $45,000-$60,000/year
• Start Date: ASAP
