Job Title: 1st Shift Web Press Operator Trainee

Pay: $21.00 per hour Hours: Monday–Friday, 5:30am–2:00pm Start Date: ASAP

As a 1st Shift Web Press Operator Trainee, you'll learn to operate multi-color business forms presses while supporting quality, safety, and on-time production. You'll work closely with the shift leader and production team to deliver results that make a difference.

What You'll Do

As a 1st Shift Web Press Operator Trainee, you will be responsible for:

• Learn to read job tickets, confirm details, and follow layout instructions
• Help set up the press (plates, feeder/delivery units) and prepare materials/stock
• Assist with inking, mixing solutions, and monitoring ink/water levels during runs
• Perform quality checks, make adjustments, and keep production moving smoothly
• Complete cleanup, basic maintenance, housekeeping, and barcode/job tracking

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Strong mechanical aptitude (work experience or hobbies that show you’re hands-on)
• Great attention to detail and a commitment to doing things the right way
• Ability to work safely around machinery and follow written instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift in a production setting
