As a Millwork Door Assembler, you will play an essential role in crafting high-quality, made-to-order doors and windows, ensuring that each product meets the highest standards of craftsmanship. You’ll work closely with the production team, utilizing your skills to contribute to top-quality outcomes and ensuring efficient workflow.

What You’ll Do:

As a Millwork Door Assembler, you will be responsible for:
  • Constructing made-to-order doors and windows according to detailed specifications.
  • Checking product and raw material specifications, including lengths and angles.
  • Setting up and operating door assembly machinery and equipment efficiently.
  • Transporting raw materials and finished products safely to and from machinery and storage areas.
  • Loading and unloading inventory as required.
  • Applying and understanding basic mathematical concepts, including fractions, decimals, and percentages, essential for measuring and assembly accuracy.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Following all safety procedures and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Assisting and training team members as needed, supporting team collaboration and skill development.
  • Supporting inventory management, materials replenishment, and quality reporting efforts.
  • Collaborating with the floor supervisor and team to achieve production goals.
  • Demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the production team.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and follow work instructions accurately.
  • Strong math skills, particularly in fractions, decimals, and percentages, to ensure precise measurements.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and assembly.
  • Dependability with a strong willingness to learn and grow within the company.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in a window or door manufacturing company is a plus.
  • The physical ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
