Job Title: Food Service Worker / Cashier – Urgently Hiring!

Pay: $20.78 per hour Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM Start Date / Duration: ASAP – could be Temp-to-Hire for the right person

 

We are seeking a Food Service Worker / Cashier for a busy and well-established food service operation located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This role involves working at an active cooking station, preparing and cooking fresh, made-to-order bowls with Mediterranean, Tex-Mex, or Asian-themed flavors. Successful candidates will bring prior kitchen experience, attention to detail, and a team-oriented attitude.

 

Job Duties:

• Prep and cook ingredients for freshly made bowls to order
• Operate and maintain an active cooking station
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service

 

The ideal candidate will have:

• Must Haves: Prior kitchen experience
• Nice to Haves: Line cook experience in a fast-paced kitchen
• Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
• Dependability and a positive, team-oriented approach
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
