Job Title: Part-Time Front Desk Coordinator - Hiring Immediately! (Temp-to-Hire)

Pay: $18.50/hr to start; increases to $19/hr once hired on permanently Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM Location: Gorham, Maine Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a friendly and organized Part-Time Front Desk Coordinator for a temp-to-hire position with one of our trusted clients in Westbrook, Maine. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere while providing essential office support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and route incoming calls promptly and courteously.

  • Greet and check in visitors, including customers, employees, and vendors.

  • Accurately enter phone-in orders into the system.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and ensure timely distribution.

  • Assist with assembling marketing materials to support company promotions.

  • Monitor office supplies for printers and copiers, and schedule service calls as needed.

  • Provide general administrative support such as data entry, document prep, and other clerical tasks.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Outlook - required. 

  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced office environment.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate clearly in person and over the phone.

  • Capable of sitting for extended periods.

  • Able to operate standard office equipment with precision.

  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently and up to 35 lbs. occasionally.

  • Mental focus to manage multiple priorities and requests.

  • Ability to work in an environment with natural and synthetic scents.
