Job Title: General Grounds and Building Maintenance – Urgently Hiring

Pay: $20/hr Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a General Grounds and Building Maintenance worker for a full-time, long-term position for our client, a school district located in Windham, ME. The General Grounds and Building Maintenance worker will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and accessibility of school buildings and grounds. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping facilities in top shape. This is a first-shift, on-site position located in Windham, Maine.

As a General Grounds and Building Maintenance worker, you will be responsible for:

• Open and close buildings for public use

• Perform routine building checks throughout the day

• Treat sidewalks and perform snow shoveling when required

• Wash floors and carry out other cleaning tasks as needed

• Drive district vehicles safely and responsibly

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent

• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• The ability to work effectively and efficiently

• A strong work ethic and reliability

• Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks and work in various weather conditions
