Business Development Representative
Location: Traveling Territory from Leominster, Fitchburg, Methuen and Lawrence, MA
Base Salary: $70K+ (Quarterly Bonus Structure)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Approximately 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Salaried)
Travel Requirements: Must use personal vehicle (No car allowance)
Worksite: Weekly team meetings in Somersworth, NH facility
We are seeking a
Business Development Representative for a full-time position for our client, a food service distributor located in
Somersworth, NH. The Business Development Representative will travel to restaurants, gas stations, prisons, and other facilities that require bulk deliveries of food service items. The Business Development Representative will be a self-motivated sales professional, skilled in building relationships and introducing potential customers to our unique products and services. This is a travel-based sales role located in Somersworth, NH.
As a Business Development Representative you will be responsible for:
- Generate and pursue leads through cold calling and in-person visits to potential customers.
- Travel extensively within the Ossipee to North Conway region to build new client relationships.
- Present and communicate the company’s value proposition effectively to business owners and decision-makers.
- Develop a strong understanding of the company’s products and differentiators.
- Attend weekly meetings in Somersworth, NH to strategize and align with the sales team.
- Monitor sales performance and contribute to quarterly bonus-based commission by driving new business growth.
- Provide market feedback and insights to improve customer targeting and strategy.
- Maintain a professional, business-casual appearance (Dress pants, blazer/polo/dress shirt).
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Sales experience preferred, especially in food service distribution.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be fluent in English and capable of delivering professional presentations.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for travel.
- High level of professionalism, self-motivation, and accountability.
