Job Title: Quality Assurance – Urgently Hiring

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a 3rd shift temporary position with our client, a foam product manufacturer located in Wiscasset, ME. The Quality Assurance Technician will handle physical sample testing and lab support procedures. This role is essential in ensuring product consistency and safety. It’s a great opportunity to step into an active lab environment with a supportive team and structured routine.

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Receive and process samples through a designated pass-through window

• Operate a die press to stamp out sample pieces

• Break down and weigh samples; record data precisely

• Set samples at the titration station for chemical analysis

• Safely empty flasks containing nitric acid post-titration

• Load and unload laboratory glassware in the dishwasher

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Prior experience in quality assurance, lab tech, or manufacturing roles preferred

• Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping accuracy

• Dependability and commitment to safety protocols

• Comfort working around lab chemicals such as nitric acid, silver sulfate, ferric ammonia, and biosiana (minimal direct contact required)

• Physical stamina to stand for 12-hour shifts and perform repetitive tasks
