Job Title: Teller – Urgently Hiring

Pay: $17.00+/hour, depending on experience Hours: Monday–Wednesday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM; Thursday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Rotating Saturdays: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM (38–40 hours/week) Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Teller for a full-time, temp-to-hire position for our client, a respected financial institution located in Brewer, Maine. The Teller will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while completing a variety of banking transactions. The Teller will support internal teams with administrative tasks and contribute to a welcoming, professional environment. As a Teller, you will be responsible for:

• Processing deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing accurately and efficiently

• Counting cash, balancing drawers, and maintaining transaction accuracy

• Assisting customers with account inquiries and general banking support

• Providing administrative support including answering phones and data entry

• Following all bank policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor

• Delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment

• Working as part of a team to ensure a smooth and positive customer experience

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent

• Cash handling and customer service experience (required)

• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills

• A keen attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficiency with computers and basic office technology

• A positive attitude, honesty, and professional demeanor

• The ability to stand for most of the shift and lift up to 15–20 lbs

• Willingness to adhere to a professional casual dress code (jeans okay, no holes/hoodies)
