We are seeking an HRIS Analyst for a full-time position for our client, located in Bangor, ME. The HRIS Analyst will lead, collaborate, and support various HRIS projects and day-to-day administration of the HRIS system (ADP). This position offers the opportunity to grow within a company with a century-long history of delivering reliable electricity and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in HRIS systems and a passion for ensuring data integrity, process improvements, and collaboration with multiple teams. This is a full-time, exempt position located in Bangor, ME. 

As an HRIS Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and processing all employee data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Assisting in HR Quarterly compliance processes and supporting report submissions.
  • Collaborating with HR/Finance Systems teams to troubleshoot and resolve data flow challenges.
  • Executing audit queries to verify data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Administering various HRIS functions including performance modules, vacation, personal time, and Workers Compensation documentation.
  • Developing reports, dashboards, and metrics to support the HR department’s needs.
  • Managing the ADP modules, improving processes, and ensuring user management.
  • Maintaining and updating files on all company/union human resource and benefit matters.
  • Serving as the HR liaison for the payroll team and assisting with ad hoc tasks as required.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Education: Associate's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years’ experience in HR, office management, or payroll.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (ADP preferred). Strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Certifications: None required, though HRIS-related certifications are a plus.
  • Personal Characteristics: Strong organizational skills, confidentiality, professionalism, and the initiative to work independently without supervision.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and sit for long periods, extensive computer use required.
