The Regulatory Accountant job in Bangor, Maine is responsible for assisting with the company's month end close process, and monthly financial reporting. You’ll have a solid understanding of how to ensure accurate preparation of all regulatory financial fillings, using GAAP accounting functions and skills. Also, functions of this role also include tracking, recording, and organizing data. In this role you may also perform reconciliation, maintain accounting controls and financial security by following policies and procedures. This is a full time position. 

Regulatory Accountant Qualifications: 

• Bachelors in Accounting or related field

• Strong attention to detail

• Experience with spreadsheets and their functions

• Accounting software experience

• Previous experience with accounting projects highly desirable

• Ability to work in a face paced environment

• Higher level accounting and accounts payable experience 

• Experience with balance sheets and reconciliations

Required Skills: 

• Bachelors degree in accounting or related field required

• Minimum of 3 years of experience of accounting experience 

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and FERC Uniform System of Accounts preferred 

Regulatory Accountant Details: 

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st Shift 

• Pay Rate: $62k+/yr depending on experience 

• Start Date: ASAP
