Your next opportunity is here — Urgently hiring Revenues Analyst in Bangor, ME!   Job Title: Revenues Analyst Pay: $20 - $25 per hour Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week Start Date: ASAP (6-month temporary assignment)   Looking for deep insight into the energy industry and a high-level analytical role? Join our Rates and Revenues team as a Revenues Analyst in Bangor, Maine, and make an impact every day.   As a Revenues Analyst, you’ll manage energy market data and ensure the accuracy of critical financial reporting. You’ll work closely with a team of highly skilled analysts to deliver results that drive regulatory and executive decisions.   What You’ll Do:   As a Revenues Analyst, you will be responsible for:
  • Generate monthly and quarterly reports for executives, regulators, and business partners.
  • Process and verify large datasets against historical reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with accounting, IT, and data analytics departments to track financial transactions.
  • Identify data discrepancies, investigate root causes, and implement solutions.
  • Manage energy supply contracts and support financial reporting tasks.
  • Participate in extensive training to master utility industry metrics and reporting standards.  
What You’ll Bring: The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience with Excel, specifically handling large data sets at an intermediate to advanced level.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with data analytics software like TM1 or Alteryx is a strong plus.
  • Personal Characteristics: Self-driven work ethic, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to learn complex information quickly.
