Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Unit Clerk in Bangor, ME and make an impact every day.   As a Unit Clerk, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily operations and ensuring the seamless flow of communication between staff and residents. You’ll work closely with the clinical care team to deliver results that make a difference.   What You’ll Do As a Unit Clerk, you will be responsible for:

• Manages staffing levels by scheduling CNAs to ensure consistent coverage and high-quality resident care.
• Maintains accurate medical records and handles sensitive patient documentation with strict confidentiality.
• Coordinates resident appointments and arranges necessary transportation for off-site visits.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for the unit by answering phone calls and directing visitors.
• Monitors and orders medical and office supplies to ensure the care team has the tools they need.
• Supports the nursing and clinical staff with various administrative tasks as they arise.

What You’ll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare setting is required; hospital or Long-Term Care (LTC) experience is highly preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Personal Characteristics: Exceptional organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a professional, empathetic communication style.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic office software and familiarity with medical terminology.
