Job Title: Overnight Janitor Pay: $18.50 per hour Hours: M-F, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Some weekends required for coverage) Start Date: ASAP Temp-to-Hire  Looking for a hands-on role? Join a trusted healthcare organization as an Overnight Janitor in Rockport, ME and make an impact every day. What You’ll Do: As an Overnight Janitor, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment within the healthcare facility.
• Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, restrooms, operating rooms, and common areas.
• Following strict hygiene and infection control protocols to prevent the spread of disease.
• Disposing of medical waste, general waste, and pharmaceutical waste according to safety regulations.
• Restocking supplies such as soap, paper towels, and linens throughout the facility.
• Utilizing specialized cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
• Responding to immediate cleaning needs in high-traffic areas like the ER or OR.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to leadership immediately. 

What You’ll Bring: The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Personal Characteristics: High level of dependability, a strong willingness to learn, and a commitment to patient safety.
• Experience: Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience is a plus, but not required.
• Physical Abilities: Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, walk, and kneel for the duration of the shift; must be able to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally and 10–25 lbs frequently.

Location & Schedule: This position is on-site in Rockport, ME.
