Job Title: Batching Technician

Pay: $22–$25/hour Hours: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (4x10) Start Date: ASAP

As a Batching Technician, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality food-grade products while maintaining safety and efficiency. You’ll work closely with the production team to ensure accurate batching, proper sanitation, and consistent product quality.

What You’ll Do

As a Batching Technician, you will be responsible for:

 

• Setting up, operating, and tending equipment to cook, mix, or blend ingredients according to formulas or recipes • Accurately weighing and measuring ingredients and completing batch documentation • Conducting temperature checks for cold and hot holds to ensure product safety • Maintaining strict adherence to food safety and sanitation procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) • Performing cleaning and sanitation of equipment as needed • Reporting production issues to the department lead • Supporting SQF initiatives and other quality and safety programs • Assisting with other tasks as directed, following established procedures

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

 

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Experience: Entry-level experience welcome; training will be provided • Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, utilize basic math skills, and complete documentation accurately • Certifications: Completion of SHA Lockout / Tagout Compliance Training preferred • Personal Traits: Strong attention to detail and adaptability to change • Physical Abilities: Ability to stand for long periods, work in confined areas, and lift up to 50 lbs (60+ lbs with a partner) • Other Requirements: Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
