Job Title: Quality Technician I – Urgently Hiring

Pay: $20/hr to $24/hr Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Quality Technician I for a temp-to-hire position with a well-established manufacturing client located in Sanford, Maine. The Quality Technician will perform inspections, testing, and calibration to ensure products meet rigorous quality standards. The Quality Technician will contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, working collaboratively with production staff to resolve issues and ensure compliance with industry standards. This is a full-time, hands-on position located in Sanford, Maine.

As a Quality Technician I, you will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting components and finished products using precision tools such as digital calipers, micrometers, and gauges

  • Performing and documenting First Article Inspections in accordance with AS9102 standards

  • Testing assemblies for capacitance, ESR, and DCL values

  • Running Burn-In tests and logging test results in the ERP system

  • Monitoring in-process production for quality issues and collaborating with production staff to resolve them

  • Calibrating and maintaining measuring tools and keeping detailed calibration records

  • Coordinating external calibration services as needed

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (technical school training is a plus)

  • 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing quality inspection

  • Strong understanding of engineering and scientific notation

  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools and test equipment

  • Familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100 quality standards

  • Good communication skills and fluency in English (read/write/speak)

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team

  • Comfort using Microsoft Word and Excel

  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs and work with visual accuracy and manual dexterity

  • U.S. Person status (required due to export regulations)
