Job Title: Installation Technician
Schedule: 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Pay Rate: $20/Hr. to $25/Hr., depending on experience and background Start Date: ASAP We are seeking an Installation Technician for a full-time position with our client, a local communication solutions company offering innovative products and technology for public service and commercial industries, located in Portsmouth, NH. The Installation Technician will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of fixed infrastructure and radio systems under the direction of a supervisor. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electronics, wiring, and hand tools. Candidates should demonstrate strong technical aptitude, a willingness to learn new skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. This is a full-time role with no nights or weekend work. As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for:Installation and maintenance of radio systems and equipment
Driving to customer sites to perform preventative maintenance and repairs
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience running cables, installing, and repairing telecommunication equipment (highly preferred)
Experience using hand and power tools
Valid driver’s license (required)
Background in electronics or IT (preferred)
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Comfort working at heights (rooftops, ladders, or in man lifts)
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
