Job Title: General Production Associate (Utility Technician) 

Pay: $20/Hr. Hours: Monday to Thursday from 6:00am to 4:00pm Start Date: March 17th We are seeking a General Production Associate (Utility Technician) for a Temp position for our client, a manufacturing organization located in Gorham. The General Production Associate will be cross-trained to work within multiple departments of the production team, adapting to the current state of operations.  As a General Production Associate (Utility Technician), you will be responsible for:

• Moving between work departments based on production needs.

• Training and working proficiently in a minimum of two of the following areas:

  • Prep operations in the Manual

  • Pre-and Post-CNC operations

  • Hone and polish operations

  • Etching, tube, and labeling product

  • Wheel dressing

  • EDM Machine operation

• Training other employees in general production tasks.

• Working from shop documents, drawings, and specifications.

• Other duties as assigned by management.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A High School Degree or GED.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle numerous tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to follow written and verbal procedures accurately.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently.

• Physical Requirements: Regular standing, sitting, and speaking, frequent walking, occasional climbing stairs, reaching overhead, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
