Title: Billing Specialist 

Pay: $20/Hr. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a Billing Specialist for a Temp to Hire position with our client, a growing company in the Accounting department, located in Scarborough. The Billing Specialist will ensure accurate daily processing and billing of company activities while maintaining effective communication with internal teams and customers. As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Invoicing transportation loads based on individual customer requirements.

• Confirming required documents and customer rate accuracy.

• Uploading completed invoices to various customer websites.

• Responding to inquiries in the RCM-AR Shared email inbox.

• Researching and solving problems related to unbilled revenue.

• Communicating with Operations and CSR teams to ensure accurate invoicing and charge approvals.

• Handling non-load related charges (O/O Tolls, O/O Fuel Taxes, etc.).

• Maintaining RCM driver envelope files and performing other general administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED

• At least 1 year of office experience (Turvo experience preferred but not required).

• Strong attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively.

• Self-motivated and energetic team player.

• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally and work in an office environment (90% sitting, 5% standing, 5% walking).
