The Temporary Enrollment Specialist is responsible for maintaining enrollment information in the Health Plan transaction system. This role involves verifying and researching enrollment data, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth customer experience throughout the enrollment process for both existing members and new beneficiaries. The Enrollment Specialist is integral to ensuring that all enrollment-related tasks are performed efficiently and effectively, working closely with both the Enrollment team and other departments.

Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
Pay Rate: $19.22 – $24.88
Start Date: December 30th,
through January 31st but there is a possibly that the role will be extended for an additional 6 months.Enroll eligible members in the Health Plan transaction system to ensure timely access to care.
Manage verification, application, outreach, and responses related to account activities, such as discounts or penalties.
Process and respond to basic enrollment activities and interdepartmental communications.
Maintain document scanning and ensure accurate information is entered into the document management system.
Communicate with members regarding enrollment changes, eligibility status, and other related matters.
Serve as a mentor for the enrollment process and assist with training.
Collaborate with the Sales and Member Engagement teams to ensure accurate enrollment.
Support Enrollment leadership in updating policies, procedures, and workflows.
Represent the department in interdepartmental workgroups focused on enrollment functions.
Continuously seek process improvements and efficiencies using new technology.
Maintain auditing skills to monitor data accuracy related to member eligibility and payments.
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
Experience in a healthcare/HMO organization preferred.
Customer service or customer-facing experience preferred.
Familiarity with company policies and the DOD managed care contract preferred.
Knowledge of basic enrollment processes and how premiums are impacted by member status.
Strong understanding of premium requirements and vendor interfaces.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Visio, and desktop publishing software preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and internal departments.
Ability to work independently with good judgment.
