Job Title: Housekeeper Pay: $20.00 per hour Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Full-Time | Every Other Weekend Required Start Date: ASAP

As a Housekeeper, you’ll be vital in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our facility by performing comprehensive cleaning and laundry tasks. You will work closely with team members to uphold high standards of safety and sanitation, contributing to residents’ comfort and well-being.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and kitchens by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Launder linens, towels, and resident clothing, including stripping beds and making them with fresh sheets, ensuring a comfortable living environment.
• Restock supplies regularly and efficiently sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry items to designated areas, supporting smooth operations.
• Manage waste removal by safely disposing of trash, soiled linens, and incontinence supplies, while promptly reporting any safety or maintenance concerns.
• Adhere to infection control policies, operate cleaning and laundry equipment safely, and maintain a sanitized environment to protect residents and staff.

What You’ll Bring:

• A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in cleaning, laundry, or healthcare support roles.
• The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, climb stairs, and stand for long periods.
• A respectful, compassionate attitude with patience when working with older adults.
• Knowledge of infection control standards and safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and a committed sense of responsibility.

Location & Schedule:

This is an on-site position in Bangor, ME, offering full-time daytime hours with every other weekend off.
