Job Title: Fabrication Machine Operator

Pay: $22–$24/hour Hours: Second shift, 3 PM - 11:50 PM Start Date: ASAP

As a Fabrication Machine Operator, you’ll be vital in supporting the production of precision sheet metal parts, ensuring quality and efficiency across the manufacturing process. You’ll work closely with your team and supervisors to optimize workflows and uphold safety standards.

What You’ll Do:

As a Fabrication Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and setting up machinery such as Laser cutters, Punch presses, and Brake presses to produce sheet metal components. You will read and interpret job tags, work instructions, and blueprints to ensure precise manufacturing. Your duties include selecting proper tooling and sheet stock, measuring and inspecting parts with calipers and other tools to maintain tolerances, and performing routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and lubricating. You will utilize Lean manufacturing principles to identify waste and contribute to continuous process improvements. Additionally, you will support team efforts to improve material flow and quality, adhering to safety and dress code standards, including wearing steel or composite footwear.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate will have:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with hand tools and power tools
• Basic computer skills and basic math proficiency
• Manufacturing experience is a plus ++
• Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs periodically and occasionally up to 75 lbs with help
• Ability to stand for 8 hours, crawl, climb, and work around mechanical equipment
