As a Maintenance Assistant, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring our residents enjoy a clean, safe, and well-maintained living environment. Work closely with our maintenance team to deliver results that positively impact our residents’ quality of life.   What You’ll Do: As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting with light repairs throughout the building, especially in resident rooms, to ensure a comfortable living space.
• Performing floor cleaning and maintenance tasks, including buffing and waxing using floor machines, to keep common areas and resident spaces looking their best.
• Carrying out light snow removal by shoveling pathways and walkways to ensure safe access and outdoor safety (no machine operation required).
• Contributing to the general cleanliness and upkeep of the facility to promote resident safety and comfort.  

What You’ll Bring: The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Prior experience in floor cleaning, maintenance, or custodial work in a residential or commercial setting.
• The physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, bend, walk, climb stairs, and push/pull equipment or materials.
• A detail-oriented approach with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Location & Schedule: This on-site position is based in Bangor, ME.
