Job Title: Housekeeper

Pay: $20.00 per hour Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Full-Time | Every Other Weekend Required Start Date: ASAP

As a Housekeeper, you will:

• Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and kitchens by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Launder linens, towels, and resident clothing, including stripping beds and making them with fresh sheets to ensure comfort and cleanliness.
• Restock supplies and ensure all laundry items are sorted, washed, dried, folded, and distributed efficiently to the appropriate areas.
• Manage waste removal by safely disposing of trash, soiled linens, and incontinence supplies, while reporting any safety or maintenance concerns.
• Adhere to infection control policies, properly operate cleaning and laundry equipment, and maintain a safe, sanitized environment.

What you’ll bring:

• A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in cleaning, laundry, or healthcare support roles.
• The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.
• A respectful, compassionate attitude and patience when working with older adults.
• Knowledge of infection control standards and environmental safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and a great sense of responsibility.

Location & Schedule: This is an on-site position in Bangor, ME, with full-time daytime hours and every other weekend off.
