Job Title: Extrusion Machine Operator

Pay: $22 - $25 per hour (based on experience) Hours: Monday–Friday (hours may vary between 7 AM–7 PM; overtime available) Start Date: ASAP

As an Extrusion Machine Operator, you'll be instrumental in maintaining smooth production processes and delivering high-quality products. Collaborate closely with the Production Manager and Quality Assurance team to ensure operational excellence and superior product quality.

What You’ll Do:

As an Extrusion Machine Operator, your core responsibilities will include:

• Setting up, starting, operating, and shutting down extrusion line machinery, including extruders, cooling tanks, cutters/pullers, conveyors, and other downstream equipment.
• Performing regular inspections and quality checks using measuring gauges and instruments, and documenting results accurately.
• Setting up and maintaining laser systems and process control alarms to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshooting extrusion processes and equipment issues to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Handling raw materials, conducting quality assurance inspections, and maintaining detailed production records.
• Communicating effectively with Packers and Inspectors regarding lot-specific issues or special requirements.
• Cleaning and maintaining the extrusion line and work area daily to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: Previous extrusion or plastics molding experience is required. ISO manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand tools and computer-based measurement tools, and experience in quality assurance or inspection.
• Certifications: ISO manufacturing certifications are advantageous.
• Personal Characteristics: Hardworking, dependable, flexible regarding hours and overtime, and a team player.
• Physical Abilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials as needed, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
• Additional Requirements: Reliable transportation to accommodate shift fluctuations.

Location & Schedule:

This on-site position in Dover, NH, offers 1st and 2nd shift opportunities, typically between 7 AM–5 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime available for dedicated team members.
