Job Title: Associate Desktop Support Analyst

Pay: $24.59 – $30.38/hour (based on experience) Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Start Date: ASAP

Join a growing organization as an Associate Desktop Support Analyst in Portland, Maine, and make a direct impact by supporting end users and ensuring our technology operates seamlessly. As an Associate Desktop Support Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in providing Level 1 desktop and end-user support. You’ll collaborate closely with the IT team to troubleshoot issues, set up hardware and software, and empower staff with the technology they need to excel in their roles.

What You’ll Do:

As an Associate Desktop Support Analyst, you will:

• Support walk-in IT requests and provide face-to-face assistance to end users.
• Image, configure, and install laptops, desktops, and other devices.
• Install software updates and assist with workstation setup.
• Troubleshoot common desktop issues and escalate more complex problems as needed.
• Manage your own ticket queue and resolve requests within established Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Ensure workstations adhere to all security and configuration standards.
• Write and update support documentation for users and the IT team.
• Coordinate with team members and technical staff to resolve issues efficiently.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Some IT or desktop support experience (6+ months is acceptable).
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work face-to-face with end users.
• The ability to multitask and manage a ticket queue effectively.
• Comfort working onsite in a professional environment.
• Nice-to-have experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Office, imaging computers, or prior help desk/service desk experience.
