Job Title: Heavy Assembler / Distribution Associate (Cross-Functional Floating)

Pay: $20.00 per hour Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (often out by 3:15 PM) Start Date: ASAP

As a Heavy Assembler / Distribution Associate, you’ll play a key role supporting both production and distribution operations, ensuring high-quality products are assembled, packed, and shipped accurately. You’ll work closely with a collaborative, relaxed, and supportive team that values flexibility, teamwork, and quality workmanship.

What You’ll Do:

As a Heavy Assembler / Distribution Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Assembling semi-complex dehydrator units using hand and power tools while following work instructions and quality standards.

• Wiring components, testing completed assemblies, and making necessary adjustments.

• Reading and interpreting prints or instructions to complete assemblies accurately.

• Picking and packing customer orders with a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy.

• Scanning serial numbers into Excel and saving files appropriately.

• Preparing products for shipment, including labeling, packaging, and assembling soft carry bags.

• Performing basic product programming, such as applying labels and running items through a computer program.

• Verifying incoming and outgoing shipments and completing required documentation.

• Using computer systems and ERP tools to check inventory, enter orders, and perform cycle counts.

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Floating between Production and Distribution departments as business needs change.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to learn department-specific processes.

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools.

• Basic computer skills, including data entry and Excel use.

• A safety-conscious mindset and ability to work well in a team environment.

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk throughout a large facility, bend, reach, and lift up to 65 lbs periodically.

Location & Schedule:

This position is on-site in the Raymond, Maine area and offers a full-time, Monday–Friday, first-shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
