Job Title: Extrusion Machine Operator

Pay: $25–$29 per hour (based on experience) Hours: 1st and/or 2nd shift, Monday–Friday (hours may vary between 7 AM–7 PM; overtime available) Start Date: ASAP

As an Extrusion Operator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth production operations and high-quality output. You’ll collaborate closely with the Production Manager and Quality Assurance team to deliver reliable, precise, and efficient results.

What You’ll Do:

As an Extrusion Machine Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Setting up, starting, operating, and shutting down extrusion line machinery such as extruders, cooling tanks, cutters/pullers, conveyors, and other downstream equipment.
• Performing inspections and quality checks using measuring gauges, instruments, and documentation.
• Setting up and maintaining laser systems and process control alarms.
• Troubleshooting extrusion processes and equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
• Handling materials, conducting quality checks, and completing production documentation accurately.
• Recording all production-related data as required to maintain operational integrity.
• Communicating effectively with Packers and Inspectors regarding lot-specific issues or requirements.
• Cleaning and maintaining the extrusion line and work area on a daily basis.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: Previous extrusion or molding experience is required.
• Skills: A strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in using hand and computer measuring tools, and experience in quality assurance or inspection are preferred.
• Certifications/Licenses: ISO manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Personal Characteristics: Hardworking, dependable, and flexible regarding hours and overtime.
• Physical Abilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
• Other Requirements: Must have reliable transportation due to potential shift fluctuations.

Location & Schedule:

This position is on-site in Dover, NH, and offers 1st and/or 2nd shift opportunities, typically between 7 AM–5 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime available.
