Pay: $23–$30/hour (based on experience) Hours: Trains on 2nd Shift — Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM Start Date: ASAP

As a Laser Operator, you’ll:

• Operate CNC laser cutting machines to create precision sheet metal and plate components.
• Load and unload materials, adjusting settings to maximize performance.
• Interpret job travelers, part drawings, and cut files to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Perform minor program edits to enhance production efficiency and quality.
• Organize and stage finished parts for subsequent production steps.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to maintain high standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Report material defects or machine issues to supervisors immediately.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments for a seamless workflow.
• Assist in raw material inventory and remnant organization.
• Conduct routine maintenance, such as cleaning lenses and replacing nozzles.

What You'll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Experience: 3–5 years operating CNC laser cutting equipment.
• Technical Skills: Robust understanding of CNC programming with the ability to adjust parameters.
• Attention to Detail: A strong commitment to precision, safety, and quality.
• Teamwork: A willingness to support others and engage in various production tasks.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical Requirements: Capacity to stand for extended periods, lift and slide materials, and perform overhead reaching.
• PPE: Steel-toe shoes are required (100% reimbursement upon hire).
• Nice-to-Have: Experience logging job times for accurate production tracking.
