As a
QA Technician, you’ll
play a key role in monitoring and enforcing Food Quality and Food Safety Programs through audits, testing, and cross-department collaboration. You’ll work closely with production, operations, and quality leadership to maintain excellence in every batch produced.
What You’ll Do
As a QA Technician, you will be responsible for:

Performing sensory and analytical tests on ingredients and food samples to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Conducting audits, verifying production documentation, and monitoring manufacturing activities for compliance with GMP, SQF, and other food safety standards.

Managing product control and sample retention systems.

Providing hands-on support for product hold and release processes.

Entering data in Excel and TGI, calibrating lab equipment, organizing samples for outside testing, and verifying label accuracy.

Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and other safety protocols.

Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

A High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or Chemistry preferred.

1–3 years of experience in the food industry within QA, operations, or a similar function.

Knowledge of food manufacturing, SQF, HACCP, GMPs, allergens, sanitation, and labeling laws preferred.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

A professional and mature approach with the ability to build strong working relationships across departments.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in both office and production environments as needed.
