Job Title: Batching Technician

Pay: $22–$25/hour Hours: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (4x10) Start Date: ASAP

As a Batching Technician, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality food-grade products while maintaining safety and efficiency. You’ll work closely with the production team to ensure accurate batching, proper sanitation, and consistent product quality. What You’ll Do:

As a Batching Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Setting up, operating, and tending equipment to cook, mix, or blend ingredients according to formulas or recipes.

• Accurately weighing and measuring ingredients and completing batch documentation.

• Conducting temperature checks for cold and hot holds to ensure product safety.

• Maintaining strict adherence to food safety and sanitation procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

• Performing cleaning and sanitation of equipment as needed.

• Reporting production issues to the department lead.

• Supporting SQF initiatives and other quality and safety programs.

• Assisting with other tasks as directed, following established procedures.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Entry-level experience welcome; training will be provided.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, utilize basic math skills, and complete documentation accurately.

• Completion of SHA Lockout / Tagout Compliance Training preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and adaptability to change.

• Ability to stand for long periods, work in confined areas, and lift up to 50 lbs (60+ lbs with a partner).

• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
